Due to a variety of factors outside of our control (e.g. weather, number of stops, etc.) we are unable to provide specific start or end times for the parade.

Typically the parade begins mid morning (around 10:30am) and finishes in the evening (around 7pm).

As we get closer to the date please check back on our website or our Facebook page for more information regarding the parade start time.

The parade is limited to Fanwood residents only We are unable to make any exceptions to this.

Additionally, due to high demand, we must cap the age for gifts at 14 years old.

  • An announcement will be made on our website and Facebook page with information regarding the gift collection dates and the parade date.
  • You should bring your gift to the Fanwood Firehouse (behind borough hall) within the gift collection window. Please ensure that your gift adheres to our requirements.
  • When you drop of your gift we will collect collect basic information from you so that we can add your house to our list of stops.

All gifts should adhere to the following requirements/restrictions:

  • They should be pre-wrapped and clearly labeled with your child’s name, your address, and phone number
  • Gifts should be no larger than a standard shoe box.
  • If you are planning to bring your children to a group/party to receive gifts we would appreciate it if you could coordinate with the group to drop off the gifts at the same time. This will greatly assist our volunteers with sorting the gifts.

Please ensure that the gift you bring adheres to these requirements. We will not accept gifts that are not labeled correctly or that are too large. Thank you for your cooperation!

Unfortunately, due to numerous factors outside of our control, it is not possible to provide estimates on what time the parade will reach your street. If this is your first time participating in the parade, we recommend that you ask your neighbors when the Santa Parade arrived on your street last year as that is generally a good indicator. With that being said, do not rely solely on that! Please listen for our sirens and ensure that your children are waiting at the street when Santa arrives.

Unfortunately, if you are not home at the time the parade arrives we will not be able to come back. In that case we will leave your gifts in a safe spot near your front door.

Unfortunately, we can’t accept late gifts.
